Project Summary

  • Under JBC’s leadership the University and Architect identified redundancies and efficiencies in the campus space plan reducing the overall program from 4.8 million SF to 3.0 million SF. This translated into an estimated development cost savings in excess of $700 million for the client.
  • With careful management by JBC, the Peer Review was completed on a concurrent basis with the Space Plan, resulting in no increase in project schedule.
  • JBC managed the business of the Board’s Real Estate Committee including setting meeting agendas, drafting resolutions, and devising and implementing document management protocol. JBC provided reference material, tutelage, and coaching so members of the committee were prepared for meetings and could engage in meaningful and productive deliberations.
