The Blue Cross Blue Shield vertical expansion project was the first of its kind. Building atop an existing structure presented unique construction challenges but through three and a half years of careful planning and construction, JBC overcame them all. Despite the building being fully occupied by 3,500 employees throughout the project, our innovative safety programs and building platforms allowed all office activity to continue uninterrupted.
